Fall 23' Inspiration

Note From Suzanne

My inspiration for this collection started with a trip to my favorite vintage fabric and print library. This isn’t just any print library; it is the world’s largest archive of patterns and textiles (over 7 million pieces!!!) and the source of inspiration for the globe’s top designers.

While we were visiting, Tory Burch called in looking for a very specific print. Balenciaga and the team from Nike had been there the week before. The library is located in an 11K square foot loft in a converted fabric mill. I could spend weeks there and not see everything.

As you scroll through our Fall collection, you will see many of the original hand-painted prints I purchased that day come to life on the silhouettes you know and love. I especially love the 1930s geometric print I found, as it inspired our seasonal color palette. The graphic shapes are softened by the artist’s hand-painted texture, not found in computer-generated prints.

I hope you feel as inspired as I do by this season’s collection!
